About AMRF

AMRF is a not for profit research and educational institution, registered as a society under  Tamil Nadu Societies’ act. AMRF has been  recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India. AMRF  is a recognised research centre of several Universities and scholars enroll for research leading to Ph.D. degree.  Researchers at  AMRF conduct basic  and translational  research to gain insights about vision science and to finding new ways to reduce the burden of blindness.
